Home-Shift : Phase 1 : Planning

There are lot many reasons why this home-shifting thing has come up. And its going to be a bit tough, but I'll get over it sooner.
Well, finally I have got a new home and its time that I start off with the Planning.
Thanks to Dad for that he has taught me a lot about packing, since he's in the Army and got posted quite often and I thank my Mom for teaching me how to unpack & get the right things in the right places, at the first go.
A list for the new home setup had already hit my inbox a week back from now and it was from Dad. Though a long one but a must, since we usually tend to miss things at the last moment. And Mom too had started off with her preparations to have her son moving into a place and making it something he would look forward to in the evening after office.

Wow! this is exciting and I know that it will be equally tough setting up a home initially, all alone. But, I have started falling in for challenges and its an obvious & timely challenge since I can put all the time in the world tackling it well.

So this movement will be in 5 Phases:

1. Phase-1: Planning.
2. Phase-2: Packing.
3. Phase-3: Moving.
4. Phase-4: Unpacking.
5. Phase-5: Setting Up.
So, I have been planning about it, i even had made a blue print of the home and where to set my bed, the table, clothing, cooler.. etc etc.

Today I had a lot to pack and I'll be leaving this post here.. I'll be writing more on packing since there is still certain things left to be wrapped up, just wanted to log the post before I hit my bed..
Man!..packing can be this tiresome...I didn't know! :P

Good Night!

And the blogging continues..

One fine evening, I pushed off with my friend after office to buy some stuff from the market. On the way we discussed about being on Social Networking Sites, Orkut & Facebook to be specific. I told him that I didn't have an account on either of those Any-More, as I could make out that they were becoming an addiction for me, so one night before hitting my bed, I took a deep breath and deleted them both, Alas! And then I created a blog instead. Also, I remember telling him that its nice to have an account on social networking sites even if you don't use it much, its always easy to get to someone and maintain your link. On which he told me something for which I am writing this post.

He said that Blogging is something you tend to do by yourself & for yourself whereas in a social networking site you usually are channeled by what people want to look, read and feel. Though this blog was something I started unintentionally, but what he conveyed will be helping me keeping it alive intentionally.

Thanks Buddy!!

OutLook Attachment Reminder!

Please follow the steps mentioned below to get a prompt on forgetting the attachments while sending mail:

1. Open your outlook (send a mail to yourself without an attachment just for testing)

2. Press Alt+F11. This opens the Visual Basic editor and then Press Ctrl+R which in turn open Project-Project 1 (left side)

3. On the Left Pane, one can see "Microsoft Outlook Objects" or "Project1", expand this. Now one can see the "ThisOutLookSession".

4. Double click on "ThisOutLookSession". It will open up a code pane on the right hand side.

5. Copy and Paste the following code in the right pane. (Code Pane) and save it.

Private Sub Application_ItemSend(ByVal Item As Object, Cancel As Boolean)
If Item.Attachments.Count = 0 Then
Prompt$ = " No attachments. Are you sure you want to send the Mail?"
If MsgBox(Prompt$, vbYesNo + vbQuestion + vbMsgBoxSetForeground, "Check for Attachment") = vbNo Then
Cancel = True
End If
End If
End Sub

Now whenever u try to send a mail without attachment, this will raise a pop-up to remind you.
Happy OutLooking!! (:

I am suppose to love challenges

Well, I am writing this post over the top of my head, and its actually not a post, but a LOG.
We are all different in the way we look, the way we think, the way we interpret and the way we deal with the things. I am different from some and similar to some, that is I like to do things the easiest way possible.

Yes, I like avoiding challenges, risks, new things, new tasks, new technologies.. and I really tend to act like a crab when I witness unexpected/unwanted things.
But, like always I WILL OVER COME THIS!

Anant, I will make myself fall in for challenges! I know its easy said than done, but its high time I think, and I must face this up right. Thanks man!
