The farewell mail:
Hi All,
Tomorrow happens to be my Last-Working-Day at CA, using 'Last' would not be appropriate, coz I know, someday and somehow, I would love to get associated with it again, after all she (CA) is my first employer, my-launch-pad.
I am writing this mail with a mixed bag of emotions, feeling sad about leaving wonderful people around me who always helped, supported & cackled with me! and I’m excited about the new challenges and opportunities with my new organization.
But, there is a lot i'll loose and miss, the moment I walk out of this place...all the unusual stuff I did in office campus, at T.T. table, in my cubicle, at lunch, the after-lunch walk (which I never miss), the after-lunch nap (which I skip at times ;D), the evening tea, the pantry gossips, the giggling in team meetings, the snoring at Town-Halls (they are damn boring! I always take the last seat and fetch myself a nice nap), the team-lunches, celebrating festivals across the year, the night-outs, the joyous weekends(I'm at office at times, but only to pass time :P), the 'sweets-at-my-desk' mails, the hacks & tweaks I had put on my machines (if I have used your machine, I might have put a couple on them too :D) and in the product [you know me, right! There are certain things I can't change with me (: ]...and there is a long list...Also, ever since my internship in ERwin, I feel(at times) that I was on a long vacation here at CA, ITC.
Thank You!, it was just not great working here, but it was an achievement of a lifetime.
Wow! How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so HARD! Well, nothing makes the earth seem so spacious as to have friends at a distance; they make the latitudes and longitudes.
